Teriyaki Chicken Wings

What you'll need:

Chicken Seasoning

  • Garlic powder

  • Onion powder

  • Chinese Five Spice Blend

  • Soy Sauce

Teriyaki Sauce

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce

  • Garlic powder

  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce

  • 2 tablespoons water

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Heat oil in deep fryer/large skillet. To season chicken, add garlic powder, onion powder, Chinese five spice blend, and soy sauce to your liking and blend well. Place chicken in deep fryer/frying pan, cooking for about 15 minutes; until the pieces are crispy and brown. Remove from oil and set aside.

For the sauce: in a wok or large skillet, add brown sugar, chicken broth, teriyaki sauce, garlic powder, and hoisin sauce whisk well. Then, in a small bowl or measuring cup mix water and cornstarch to make a slurry; pour slowly into wok/skillet, frequently whisking until desired thickness is reached.

Add chicken wings to sauce in wok/skillet, toss in sauce. And that’s it! Plate ‘em up, sprinkle on some sesame seeds if you like, and enjoy!

**Note: You can use more or less seasoning and ingredients to your liking**
